For this rebrand Donna Mare needed to get back to its Italian roots. I took an existing word mark and expanded the brand into a monogram, a richer color palette and retro Italian inspired patterns. Along with an interior design refresh, all menus and collateral were redesigned to fit the upscale yet fun vibe of the restaurant. In just eight months post relaunch, Donna Mare climbed 80 spots on TripAdvisor to rank #50 out of 886 restaurants, bolstered by its acclaimed wood-fired pizza and highly sought-after pasta classes popular with both locals and hotel guests.
